She was predeceased by: her former husband Leonard Scherr; and her parents, Belle Weiss and Harry Weiss. She is survived by: her husband Stuart Horwitz; her children, Mindy Valpey (Scott), Diane Fay (Don Jones), Brenda Ryan (Tim) and Miles Horwitz; her grandchildren, Lily, Brooker, Demri, Asher, Lyric, Nita, Clara, Jack, Alexandra and Danielle; and her sister Roz Weinstein (Marvin). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Home of Sheilah and Si Kalderon (11100 Valley Heights Dr, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
