Bernice Brafman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Brafman of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Bernice may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Brafman; her brother Lee Klavans; her nephew Glenn Klavans; and her parents, Louis Klavans and Ida Klavans.

She is survived by: her son Larry Neil Brafman (Kim Kalb); her nephews, Harry Brafman (Eileen), Gary Klavans and Howard Edelstein; and her caregiver Yvette Gattis.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oheb Shalom Memorial Park (430 Berrymans Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136).
