She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth E. Smith, Sr.; and her granddaughter Kimberly Blunt. She is survived by: her children, Naomi R. Markel and Kenneth E. Smith, Jr. (Jeanette); and her grandchildren, Stacey Torres (Oscar), Wayne Smith and Lisa Pilone (Andrew). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
