It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Nelson of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, David Nelson (Gloria), Sally Nelson, Thomasena Cook (Sylvester), Sandra Nelson and Aljarian Nelson; and her brothers, Ulysses Greene (Glennie) and Levester Greene. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A burial was held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery (2449 Santee River Rd, St Stephen, SC 29479).
