She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Kohn; her daughter Marcy Steinberg; her sister Harriet Baylin (George); her great grandchild Melanie Jill Sober; and her parents, Mae Alper and Louis Alper.

She is survived by: her children, Rhona Sober (Julian) and Barry Kohn (Stacy); her grandchildren, Lisa Carmichael, Eric Sober (Claudia Mixco), Dustin Kohn and Ryan Sober (Nina); and her great grandchildren, Gavin Carmichael, Alexandra Carmichael, Asher Kohn, Macy Sober, Joshua Sober, Ethan Sober, Christopher Amaya and Gabriella Amaya.
