He was predeceased by: his mother Christine Nightengale; and his siblings, Robert Shade, Amanda Wagner and Leisa Dejong (Clyde). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Shade; his children, Alica Cross (Robert) and Charles "Chuckie" Shade, Jr.; and his brothers, John Shade, Jr. (Lisa) and Michael Shade. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home (1501 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
