He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Kotei Dzanie and Samuel Victor Arthur; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his children, Phedra Aba Arthur Iruke, Chandra Efua Arthur and Everett Arthur; his grandchildren, Kensington Iruke and Fitzgerald Iruke; and his siblings, Samuel Arthur, Rebecca Arthur and Barry Arthur. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
