He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson and Hazel (Schrock); and his brothers, Terry and John. He is survived by: his wife Martha Garland; his children, Laura (Cronin), John and Karen; the mother of his children Darlene (Yarian); his grandchildren, Timothy, Matthew, Samuel, Jenifer (Garst), Ethan, Zachary and Alice; and his brother David.
