We announce the death of Doris Sharkey (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Doris will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Doris will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Doris’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert M. Littrell; her children, Barbara Gavin and Greg Sharkey; her grandchildren, Emily Sharkey, Rachel Sharkey and Samuel Gavin; and her siblings, Steve Cucura (Susie), John Cucura, Dorothy Woodbury and Fred Gorsline. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
