With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edna Hendler of Baltimore, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edna left this world on July 13, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Hendler; her brothers, Leon (Evelyn) and Oscar Becker; and her parents, Gilbert Becker and Bessie Becker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Schneider (Phil), Shelley Hendler (Scott Lever) and Beth Hendler-Friedman (Andy Friedman); her grandchildren, Arielle Lever (Andrew Eisen), Rachel Solender (Jordan), Sara Lever, Jonathan Schneider (Jenn), Molly Friedman, Ian Lever (Emily Allen) and Lee Friedman (Steph Shin); and her great grandchildren, Makai, Lila Eisen, Ethan, Leo, Elliot Solender and Noah Schneider.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM, on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
