He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick Weitzel, Sr. and Margaret Anna Weitzel; his brother William Frederick Weitzel, Jr.; his nephew-in-law Harlan Gilmore; and his great-nephew William Frederick Weitzel, IV.
He is survived by: his wife Nomiki Bouloubassis Weitzel; his son Dr. Emmanuel John Botzolakis (Liya Beyderman); his grandsons, Stefan and Adrian Botzolakis; his sister Carol Weitzel Kohfeld (John Sprague); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Nesmith Weitzel; his nieces and nephews, Dr. William Frederick Weitzel, III (Cheryl), Reta Gilmore, Kurt Kohfeld (Sandy) and Dr. Karen Kohfeld (Klaus Rathe); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Edward Weitzel (Molly), William James Millington, Alexander John Weitzel, Sharon Elizabeth Millington Daves (Jamey), Anne Marie Weitzel, Kristen Elizabeth Kohfeld and Katie Rathe; his brothers-in-law, Nickolas A. Bouloubassis (Ethel) and Michael A. Bouloubassis (Sheila); his nephews, George, David Bouloubassis and Aristidis M. Bouloubassis (Urania Dagalakis); his niece Dr. Kalliope Roberts (Christian); and also Mihalis.
