With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Gibson of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ernest departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ernest. Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his son Ernest Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Richoux, Aprile Foret (Brad) and Belinda Gibson; and his grandchildren, Kyle Bourg, LeeAnn Naquin, Ernest Gibson, Gavin Foret, Trent Foret and Evan Mahler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thibodaux Funeral Home (104 St Patrick St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
