Though Fatemeh may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Mansoor Fard; and her granddaughter Shirin Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Hideh Shakes, Hamid Ghirvanian-Fard, Houshang Ghirvanian-Fard and Roksana Jenkins. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
