He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Scheidhauer and Beatrice Scheidhauer; and his sister Joan McCarey (Mercedes "Marcy" Scheidhauer). He is survived by: his children, Gerry (Sharon) of Celebration, FL, Nancy Myers (Randy) of Westminster, MD, Greg (Andrea) of Crofton, MD, Erik (Jill) of Urbana, MD and Jeff (Terry) of Abingdon, MD.; his grandchildren, Nick, Caroline, Max, Alexis, Christine, Brooke, Brennan, Ava, Katie, Christopher, Jack, Ryan, Kevin, Jackson, Amy, Maggie and Nicholas; and his siblings, Carole Townsend, Bill Scheidhauer (Aileen) and Ginny McKee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
