He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Pumphrey; his children, Mary Ellen Walker (James), Sheila Serfas (Greg), Michelle Wells (John), Peggy Ruskie (Mike), Kristina, Josh, John, Jessica, Amanda, Juliana, Sydney, Jacob and Alex; his great grandchild Emily; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth. He was also cherished by nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
