Ida Gulin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Gulin of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Gulin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Ruby Gulin; her brother Louis Balk (Thea); and her parents, Lillian Balk and Harry Balk. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gulin (Corinne) and R. Joan Schoenfeld (Professor Stuart); her grandchildren, Dr. Shaina Edelson (Mark), Alissa Gulin (Joe Burns), Rabbi Professor D'vorah Schoenfeld (David Dror) and Rabbi Rachel Dvash Schoenfeld (Dan Dvash Hyman); and her great grandchildren, Fay Dvash Hyman, Nora Dvash Schoenfeld, Chase Edelson and Cleo Dror.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery (6307 Hamilton Ave, Rosedale, MD 21237).
