He was predeceased by: his son Craig Terry Schulherr; his son-in-law Thomas David Farrell Jr.; his brother William Schulherr; and his parents, Stella Schulherr and Max Schulherr.

He is survived by: his wife Pearl Schulherr; his daughters, Barbara Stella Rothman (Jerry) and Kim Schulherr Farrell; his grandsons, Michael Stephen Rothman (Meredith Persily), Jeffrey Ross Rothman (Anne Tretter), Noah David Farrell and Cooper Adam Farrell (Megann Coleman); and his great grandchildren, Max David Rothman, Alexandra Grace Rothman, Matthew Schulherr Rothman and Norah Abigail Rothman.
