He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Ann Steiner and Rudolph Steiner; his grandson Jeffrey A. Schanberger (Laura C. Schanberger); and his siblings, Rudolph "Mike" Steiner, Jr., Elizabeth "Sis" Mackabee and Dorothy Cirri.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, James Jeffrey and Ella Rose; his nieces, Nancy Gibson (James), Dorothy Phelps (Brian), Judy Geiger, Christine Nuedling (Andrew) and Catherine Lacher (Raymond); and his nephew William Mackabee, III (Terri).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center (2325 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
