He is survived by: his children, James V Scheel, Jr. (Kelly), William Scheel, Margaret Scheel and Gail E Miller; and his grandchildren, Carrie M Hall, Amie Kimmel, Kate Keener, Christopher Miller, James Scheel III, Patrick Scheel, Abilgail Selway and Ellen Scheel. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
