With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Blanche Callis (Baltimore, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 85. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Donna Ritz (Jack), Janet Ruhl, Sharon La Flame (Joseph), Donald Callis Jr. (Jeannie), Theresa Minter (James) and Michael Callis (Debra). She was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other loving family members.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parkwood Cemetery (3310 Taylor Ave, Baltimore, MD 21234).
