He is survived by: his wife Dr. Linda Nieman; his children, Danielle Sarah Storch (Frank) and Aaron Nieman (Hideyo); his sister Eileen Takemori; and his grandchildren, Shulamis Tova Schmulian (Yehoshua), Ben "Yoffi" Storch, Julia, Olivia and Lana Nieman.
