With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois W. Hess of Baltimore, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis M. W. Hess, Jr. (Dick); her children, Stuart M. Hess, Joan Hess Gordon and Carol Ann Hess; her sister Ann W. Ries; and her brother-in-law E. Carey Ries.
She is survived by: her grandson Scott Gordon; her son-in-law Hunter Gordon; and her sibling's children, Lois, Dick, Thomas, Leslie Ries, James, Amy Ries, Sally, Kevin Abell, John and Carol Hess. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
