He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Erkes; and his parents, Meyer Erkes and Irene Erkes. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Ellen Erkes; his children, Mitchell Greenberg (Jo) and Jamie Sherman (Steven); and his grandchildren, Casey Greenberg, Jessica Greenberg, Sydney Greenberg, Wyatt Sherman, Dex Sherman and Scarlett Sherman.
