With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille I. Pratt (Baltimore, Maryland), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Owens Robinson and Robert Lee Robinson; her siblings, Beatrice Fair, Willie Robinson, Martha Rouse, Mary Marshall, Samuel Robinson, Robert Robinson Jr., John Robinson and Ulysses Robinson; her husband Lealon Pratt; her daughter Thelma Irene Henry (James Richardson); and her grandchildren, Charles Wilson, Larry Richardson, Darlene Richardson, Micheal Tribble and Chester Richardson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Barbara Ann Richardson, Donnell Richardson, Joe Richardson and Christine Richardson; and her great grandchildren, Candace Lynn Richardson, Tyleata Brown (C. Denard Brown), LaShai Richardson, Shaquille Marche, Kara Lynn Gladden, Micheal Tribble, Jr., Tavon, Shawn, Maurice, Saundra Lynn Richardson, Robert Cole, Thomas Cole, Jr., Marvin Price, Jr., Portia Price and Davon Price (Michele Price). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends.
During the later years of her life, and especially throughout the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Lucille was lovingly cared for by her granddaughter, Barbara Richardson, and Nurse Karen Mowder, whose professional skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication ensured her comfort, dignity, and safety during an unprecedented time.
