He was predeceased by: his parents, Hirsh Blitz and Rachel Blitz. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ruth Blitz; his children, Karen Sand (Brian), Steven Blitz, Michael Blitz (Rene) and David Blitz; his siblings, Isadore Blitz (Emily) and Rene Abada; his grandchildren, Andrew Sand, Zachary Sand, Lauren Mandel (Sammy), Samuel Blitz, Kayla Blitz, Ethan Blitz, Alex Blitz and Daniel Joshua Blitz; and his great grandchild Sophia Rose Mandel.
