She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Taormina and Ann Taormina; and her sister Josephine Ecolono. She is survived by: her children, Carl S. Filipiak (Irene) of Timonium, MD, Deborah A. Glickman of Ocean City, MD and John A. Filipiak (Judy) of Baltimore, MD.; her sister Frances Harris 'Rikki' of Towson, MD; her grandsons, John Filipiak (Laura) and Michael Filipiak (Samantha); and her great grandchild Charlotte Filipiak.
