She was predeceased by: her parents, Osmond Twedt and Iona Twedt (Herbrandson); and her sister Norma. She is survived by: her husband Verne Thorstenson of Selby, SD.; her children, Yvonne Strom (Brian) of Cupertino, CA, Eric Thorstenson (Connie Beckstrom), Nina Thorstenson (Bob Shutts), Kim Haug (Kendal) of Rapid City, SD and Andy Thorstenson of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Amelia (Mallory Strom), Tyler (Briana Beckstrom), Sofia Kennel (John Thorstenson), Karlie, Kiefer, Karah (Keaton Haug) and Autumn Celeste (Rowan Thorstenson); and her great grandchild Leah Kennel.

The family wishes to thank the Serenity Place staff at Saint Martin Village for their compassionate care, especially during this time when family visits were restricted because of the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Augustana Fund at Augustana University, 2001 South Summit Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57197.

“Dear Family, SO sorry to learn of Marjory's passing! She was always one of my favorite cousins. My Dad, Lowell, always enjoyed your visits when you visited Alcester & Canton. Marjory's bubbly personality will be missed by so many. On August 9th, 1947, Marjory & Norma were junior bridesmaids in my parents wedding. Would love to celebrate her life. So glad I have lots of pictures from the wedding in Seattle of Marjory and Verne. Sending Sympathy, love and Prayers, Faith Larson Louis”
