We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 85, Matthew McClung Gardner Jr. in Baltimore, Maryland, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Sr. Gardner and Emily McCampbell Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Judith Dodrill; his children, Alexandra (Nike Carstarphen) and Keith (Amy); and his grandsons, Christopher, Aidan and Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Camp Agawam Main Idea for deserving boys in southern Maine.
