He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; and his parents, Ernst Hermann and Lina Hermann of Switzerland. He is survived by: his son Peter of Baltimore; his daughter-in-law Kristin Brady; his granddaughter-in-law Elena; and his sister Erika Arni of Switzerland. He is also survived by three nieces.
