He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella Elliott and William Elliott; his brother William; his former wife Eleanor Robinette; and his pet Ziggy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Elliott, Patricia Hitt, Lisa Coleman and Bradley Elliott; his daughter Rebecca Elliott (Douglas Testerman); his grandchildren, Blake and Audrey Testerman; and his daughter Sheryl Sherrod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
