She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Vera Nicholson and William K. Nicholson; her siblings, William K. Nicholson Jr. and Martha N. Bortner; and her husband Courtney D. Alvey.
She is survived by: her children, Ginny Studley (David), Janice Bosley (Chuck) and Mark Alvey (Kim); her grandchildren, Melinda Studley (Eric), Ken Bosley (Ashley), Erin McCartin (Brian), Brian Alvey (Macy) and Chris Alvey; and her great grandchildren, Ben Bosley, Victoria McCartin, William McCartin, Katherine Banks and Erica Bosley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Crest Residence Care Fund or Lions Vision Research Center.
