He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Sefret; his siblings, Julius Sefret and Miriam Caplan (Nathan); and his parents, Morris Sefret and Rose Sefret.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Whelpley (Edward) and Shawn Sefret (Abby Weinstock); his brother Jerome Sefret (Janet); his sister-in-law Marilyn Sefret; and his grandchildren, Jackie Whelpley, Matthew Whelpley, Shayna Sefret, Aliza Sefret and Hannah Sefret.
