He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Bennaman and Hilda Bennaman; his wife Mary Jo Bowen; his brother Mel (Barbara); his children, Shannon Kalasky, Shawn Bennaman and Amy Lynn Harris; Artie (Laura Buckliew) and Zachary.
In 2009, Norman and Mary Jo assumed guardianship and great loving care of his mom Hilda at home, who developed Alzheimer's until her passing in 2015 at age 93.
