He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Hughes and Angie [Cohee] Hughes; and his sister Mary Patricia O'Leary. He is survived by : his significant other Charlton "Chaddie" Campbell-Hughes; his daughter Jessie Hughes; his sister Mary Angela "Button" Hoerl; his nieces and nephews, Brett Alcarese Welch (Ron Welch) of Richmond, VA, Meredith Alcarese Lorenzen (Brian Lorenzen) of Brooklyn, NY and Sarah Sober Frazier (Aaron Frazier) of Towson, MD.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan, Audrey, Mac, Miles, Henry and Luke; his godchildren, Melissa Reese West, Colleen Cohee Carter and Brett Smith; and his nephew Chuck Hoerl. He is also survived by "uncle" and godfather to his friends' children.
