It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Rigney (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Mabe and Claude Ellis Mabe (late Ross M. Rigney); her siblings, Claude James Mabe, Betty Carol Cormack (Alfred Edward Cormack) and Kenneth Ray Mabe; and her sister-in-law Deborah Mabe Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Stricker (late Paul D. Stricker, Jr.) and Brenda G. Rigney; her grandchildren, Duane M. Nichols, Jr., Heather Rigney, Hope Rigney and Tyler C. Dailey; her great grandchildren, Duane M. Nichols, III and Ty Tantses, Jr.; and her siblings, Jo Ann Shaw (Walter Shaw, Sr.), David S. Mabe, Sr. (Sandra) and Bobby Gene Mabe (Judith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
