He is survived by: his children, Derrick Mayfield, Sr. (Anita), Daryl Stinnett (Adrienne) and Lisa Blaney (Melvin); his grandchildren, Derica, Derrick Mayfield Jr. and Asha Blaney; his great grandchildren, Eden, Ella Jackson, Zaraya, Quintin Mayfield and Aria Harewood; and his siblings, Paul Mayfield (Mildred), Charles Mayfield (Cecilia), Carolyn Jones, Libby Mayfield, Marie Fisher (Herb) and Michelle Snowden (Greg). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
