Raya Katsman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raya Katsman of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raya Katsman to pay them a last tribute.
Though Raya may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raya touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Mila Kofman (Ilya) and Feliks Katsman (Alla Kirnos); her sister Anna Shapiro (late Michael); and her grandchildren, Eugene Kofman (Kate) and Maryana Townsend (Kevin). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
