It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Scherr of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rose Scherr to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Robby" Scherr; her siblings, Hannah Sartoph, Lillian Feldstein, Hessie Blum, Molly Norwood, Julia Stinson, Sol Blum and Jean Frank; and her parents, Fannie Blum and Jacob Blum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Cohen (Bob) and Arlene Reedy (Hal Blum); her grandchildren, Melisa Hoffman (Andy), Emily Lieberman (Jordan), Daniel Cohen (Jenna) and Jessica Lavin (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Mason Hoffman, Liam Hoffman, Stella Lieberman, Hunter Lieberman, Jorey Cohen and Colton Cohen.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
