It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas P. Swindell (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas P. Swindell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haldane Swindell and Rachel Parran Swindell. He is survived by: his wife Patterson Scarlett Swindell; his son Ty Swindell (Susie); his grandchildren, Tommy and Annie; his daughter Emily Hall (Chas); his grandchildren, Willy and Bowen; and his brother Robert Swindell, Jr. (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tom also served as president of the Deerwood Foundation for several years.
