Walter Eugene Taylor Obituary

On February 14, 2020 WALTER EUGENE TAYLOR passed away. He was a graduate of Mergenthaler High School, class of '62, where he studied in the Automotive Mechanics. After graduating high school, Walt fulfilled his career ambition by starting a 40 year career with Baltimore Mack Trucks, as a shop Foreman. During his career at Mack, Walt took time to join the Roman Catholic Brotherhood.

He served his Church as an Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Union Memorial Hospital, and Mercy Hospital. He also was an active member in the Knights of Columbus. Walt traveled all over the country on his Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle- even traveling as far as Alaska. He also enjoyed model trains and cooking for his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed. Walter is devoted son of the late Elsie Marie Taylor-Carter (nee Hulse) and Edward Taylor; dear brother to Steven Taylor and his wife Carolyn; cherished uncle of Bradley Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home Inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, where Catholic Prayers will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:00 am.

Interment Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery, Freeland, Maryland.
