She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold C. Sylvester, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Quillen Sylvester; her husband Louis J. Palmatary; her son Louis Jonathan Palmatary II; her grandson Louis Jonathan Palmatary III; and her siblings, Nolan Sylvester, Harold C. Sylvester, Jr., Marie Dukes, Page Brothers and Mary Lou Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy P. Pippin (Tommy) of Centreville, Lori P. Benney of Henderson and Eddie Palmatary (Wendy) of Henderson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

If friends wish to make memorial donations to a charity in memory of Mrs. Palmatary, the family suggests making them to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
