She was predeceased by : her father Charles Edward "Yea" Anderson; and her son Thomas "Lee" Smith. She is survived by : her mother Mary Ellen Anderson (Myers); her daughter Cheyenne Smith; her grandchildren, Jayden, Scarlett and Payton; her sisters, Doris Hott (Kenny), Judy Melton (Curtis) and Patty Anderson (Mark); her fiancé Jim Fairgrieve; and her son William. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes- Fort Ashby (10182 Frankfort Hwy, Fort Ashby, WV 26719). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
