He is survived by: his wife Zennia May Mongold; his children, Brenda Lee Clark (late Dale), Timothy Leroy Mongold (Sue), Linda Sue Shreve (Ken) and Tammy Joy Barrett (Greg); and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Mongold (Janet), Charlie Symons (Rebecca), James "Jim" Symons (Dana), Nancy Crowe (Ivan), Diana Grady (Rob) and Kay Clark (late James, Jr). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boal Memorial Chapel (19006 Legislative Rd SW, Barton, MD 21521). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
