She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nugene Melton and Margaret Ethel Melton (Thompson); her husband Morris Willard Wagner; and her sisters, Mary McMillian and Nellie Atwell.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Carter (William) and Morris Wagner; her grandchildren, James Stallings (Morgan), Jessie Layfield (Dawna), Robert Carter (Tarrin) and Jennifer Wisner (Derrick); and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Landon, Kaylin, Lexi, Madison and Reese.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
