It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Everett Gemmill of Bel Air, Maryland, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Gemmill (Deigert) and James Everett Gemmill; his wife Connie Joan Gemmill; his brother Gary Gemmill; his sons, Patrick Gemmill (Kelly) and Michael Gemmill; and his grandchildren, Neil Gemmill, Abigail Gemmill and Joan Gemmill.
He is survived by: his brothers, Allen Gemmill and Kenny Gemmill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (533 E Jarrettsville Rd, Forest Hill, MD 21050). A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
