He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Gemmill (Deigert) and James Everett Gemmill; his wife Connie Joan Gemmill; his brother Gary Gemmill; his sons, Patrick Gemmill (Kelly) and Michael Gemmill; and his grandchildren, Neil Gemmill, Abigail Gemmill and Joan Gemmill.
He is survived by: his brothers, Allen Gemmill and Kenny Gemmill.
