She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine E. Orr and S. Wade Absher; her husband Charles Harry DeRan; and her brother Samuel Orr of Graham. She is survived by: her children, Craig DeRan (Adrienne) of Pylesville and Catherine DeRan of Shirlington, Virginia; and her siblings, Norma Phelps of Ormond Beach, Florida and Joseph E. Orr, Jr. of Raleigh.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
