She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Amos C. Richardson and Iola "Tad" Richardson (Woodie). She is survived by: her husband Larry Alejo; her daughter Kimberly Bender (Gilbert, Jr.); her grandchildren, Gilbert Bender III (Erika) and April Bender (Jimmy Jones); her great grandchild Harper Mae Jones; and her siblings, Peggy Cortright (Richard) and Ronnie Richardson. She is also survived by several nephews, great nephews, and one great niece.
