He is survived by: his wife Diane Kathryn Coughlin; his children, Michael Gray Coughlin (Johanna) and Meghan Elizabeth Coughlin; and his grandchildren, Brendan Michael Coughlin, Thomas David Coughlin, Mary Clare Coughlin, James Patrick Coughlin, Andrew Francis Coughlin, Charles Joseph Coughlin and Kathleen Gray Coughlin.
