She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Zaloski Oleson Velcheck and John Velcheck; her husband Gerald M. Kavanagh; and her siblings, Bertha Espenhain and William Oleson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Kavanagh Lambdin (Joseph); her granddaughter Jennifer Lambdin Doyle (Kent); and her great grandchildren, Caelen and Peighton Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
