He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Louis Carter and Mary Stephenson Carter (Hoover); his wife Sarah Jane Shunk Carter; and his sister-in-law Beverly Carter. He is survived by: his son Edward Mac Carter (Leah); his grandchildren, Edward Alexander Carter (Annie), Wesley Jay Carter and Madelyn Jane Carter; his siblings, Joyce Carter and Frank Louis Carter, Jr.; his nephew Bruce David Carter (Terry); his grandson John Weaver; his great grandchild Nathan Stauffer; Rachel. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews, and dear friends.
